Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving, committed parents. He is the oldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. The entire family is engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that houses a number of top gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the Word of God the world. She is a gifted gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.
