Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began to explore ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an initiative designed to develop and expand the potential of leadership in Africans. The foundation acknowledges, honors, and supports young African leaders who have had a an impact on their generation. They do this by educating, youth empowerment, mentoring and mentorship .
The foundation recognizes the efforts that these young leaders have made by presenting an annual ceremony known as The Next Africa Leaders’ award. The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based nongovernmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was created to help the poor, needy and orphaned children who live in the poverty of their homes.
Children and their families benefit from the foundation's sustainable and participatory interventions. These include programs for childcare as well as child development programs and family strengthening programmes.

The Trauma care International Foundation was founded to improve the quality of life and health within local communities and across nations. The foundation also advocates for improved emergency response services in case of accidents or emergencies.
